I got this great fall craft idea from Martha Stewart Living. Collect some acorns, paint them if you like (I used acrylics), hot glue loops of twine (or yarn) to the acorn tops and hang them from twigs. What betokens autumn more than acorns?

Whoa, Cara! But Martha Stewart doesn't have a newborn! (And her minions paint the acorns.) I think you're ready for chickens in the back yard (so we can have some turquoise eggs!) wm
But this is a beautiful idea, Cara, and I love the photographs that you took of the tree, as well - very artistic! Isn't it wonderful to be thinking of ways to celebrate Fall?
